Google NotebookLM Edu Fundamentals [Free Pilot]

What are the tool's limitations?
- TXST has access to Google EDU Fundamentals. This is a no-cost and limited version of the tool for pilot purposes
- Public sharing is not available
- Up to 50 student viewers can be added as viewers to the notebook, added via TXST NetID (not alias)
- Collaborators/editors must be added via TXST NetID (not alias)
- 50 documents can be uploaded per notebook 200MB/file
- 50 queries per day
- 3 podcast generations per day

There are currently no known end dates for the pilot.

How much do TXST users pay?
No cost (trial) for TXST users, $14-$22 per license per month if consumer license purchased. Contact vpit@txstate.edu for purchase information.

- No enterprise security protections
- Your queries and responses are used to train other large language models
- Limitations on sharing custom Notebooks with others users

- Note that each source can contain up to 500,000 words or 200MB for uploaded files, and you can include up to 50 sources in your notebook.
