Make sure you're getting the most out of your Copilot license. Check to make sure you have the correct Microsoft license type.

What can Copilot do for me?
Copilot is your work assistant and can help you accomplish tasks such as:
- summarizing a document
- summarizing a website
- provide a meeting recap with action points
- get you up to speed on emails and meetings while you were out of the office
- draft documents, emails, and even create PowerPoint presentations
- generate ideas
- create outlines
- create images
- and so much moreā¦.
However, you do not have to limit yourself to just work tasks. Use Copilot to help you with your at home items as well. Things like:
- create meal planning menus
- suggest a workout routine based on your time and skill level
- suggest vacation and travel ideas
- suggest plants to add to your landscape based on location
- NOTE: You will want to use Copilot for the web when asking non-work related questions
Simply put, your imagination is the only thing holding you back. Talk to Copilot like you're talking to a person and be specific in what you're looking for. This way, Copilot is likely to provide better results.

How much do TXST users pay?
Limited number of licenses are available to allocate to TXST users. If purchased, the cost is $30.30 per user per month. Contact vpit@txstate.edu for purchase information.

Why can't I just sign up for the free version or pay for my own license?
Copilot Work Chat is only available as a paid add-on with a prerequisite Microsoft 365 license.

Summarize emails, generate text (documents, emails, presentations, etc.), analyze Excel documents, summarize documents, embedded in Microsoft tools.

Note: Files that can be uploaded to Copilot are limited to 512MB and multimedia files such as audio, video, or executables are not allowed. -
